A Creative Complex
The Midway is a new, multifaceted creative complex, located in San Francisco’s burgeoning Dogpatch neighborhood. Equal parts creative laboratory and performance space, The Midway is a sprawling 40,000 square-foot venue for the public to engage with a variety of exhibitions, workshops, performances and special events. Housing art, food, music & emerging technologies under one synergistic and collaborative roof, The Midway is the perfect place for San Francisco’s creative communities to collide.Explore The Rooms
The Midway Artist Studios
Nine studios and a teaching workshop space comprise The Midway’s artist in residency program. Programming focuses on interdisciplinary processes and professional development. Studio spaces are provided free of charge in exchange for artist’s time to contribute to the creative community at the complex.
The Midway Gallery
The center, bisecting promenade of the whole Midway complex is a beautifully grand 3000 sq.ft. gallery. Much like The Midway itself, the gallery puts emphasis on artists working across disciplines or mediums and creates a stage for artists to push boundaries.
Exhibition Kitchen & Screening Room
