Envelop is a non-profit that amplifies the social and emotional impact of music through immersive listening spaces and open source spatial audio software. Envelop SF is a listening space with 32 speakers surrounding the audience.

In this LISTEN event we share Alan Parson's original quadaphonic mix of Pink Floyd's legendary album "The Dark Side of The Moon". This is a completely new experience of this classic work of early spatial audio. We have upmixed the original and rarely heard 4 channel mix with the Envelop software, creating a 32 channel experience that respects the original masterpiece. Pink Floyd will not be present at this event! -∆<

Envelop SF is within The Midway at 900 Marin St SF CA. Entrance is on Michigan St through the patio. Doors close 15mins after start time. All ticket sales are online none at the door

We believe that immersive experiences of sound and music connect and inspire people on a deeper level, creating shared moments of fully-activated intentional listening. Through Envelop venues, powered by our software Envelop for Live, we host a diversity of events ranging from spatial music performances and listening events, to wellness and 3D audio education. With 32 or more speakers surrounding the audience, Envelop venues allow us to be within the music.

Envelop is directed by artist/musician Christopher Willits, with board members Roddy Lindsay, artist/DJ Mark Slee, fabricator Greg Wood, and creative director Alingo Loh.
