Beats Antique
Beats Antique
It's impossible to describe Beats Antique using just a single genre. One listen to their forthcoming album, Shadowbox (released on their own Beats Antique Records imprint), and their unique hybrid of sound makes perfect sense; their ability to blend so many different kinds of music in to an incredibly vibrant, distinctive and peerless album is what this band has been doing for the past ten years.

Based in Oakland, California, Sidecar Tommy, David Satori and Zoe Jakes make up Beats Antique, who released their 10th album on October 5th to commemorate their tenth year as a band. They've mounted a larger-than-life, cross-country tour that will take their vision to theaters across America. "Shadowbox is both the title of our new album, the theme of our tour, and our new store front in Berkeley CA. We decided to bring it all together on this release."
CloZee
CloZee
In a feedback loop of adventure, music, and love, CloZee and her fans are ready to let the force of the sound carry everyone to places they have never been before. Being based simultaneously in Toulouse, France and on stages across the world makes this electronic musician stand out. With inspirations far afield from music - a painting, the weather, a dream - in her craft, Chloé Herry’s derivations are difficult to trace. Under the broad structure of electronic and bass music, and informed by sound the world over, Clozee finds her best fit in World Bass’ corner.

CloZee has performed on many continents: from Coachella to India, on four US Tours, and everywhere around her native France. She is a standout on the roster of her labels, Gravitas Recordings & Otodayo Records. Followers in many languages drive streams counted in millions. But art’s ability to transport others is this talented producer’s special magic - manifest whenever someone presses play.
Tsuruda
Tsuruda
Thomas Jay Tsuruda (born August 9, 1991) was immersed in music as soon as he could read. Starting
with piano as a child, and with violin and vocal lessons soon to follow, he is no stranger to classical training and the self discipline that comes with it. Tsuruda attended a classical music school from kindergarten to 8th grade, and spent his childhood experimenting with every instrument he could get his hands on. Due to his early involvement with music, it comes as no surprise that Thomas fell into the world of producing at the young age of fifteen.

With influences like Madlib and Flying Lotus, Tsuruda's style is diverse, elegant, and complex. Disregarding all genres, he isn't afraid to push the boundaries of electronic bass and hip hop music. His live sets are always a unique surprise and have taken him around North America and Europe sharing the stage with some of the biggest names in the game. Tsuruda made his Vancouver debut with Ekali and High Klassified in May, 2015, shortly after his legendary sunrise set at Emissions Music Festival with G Jones and Slow Magic. He's held down stages with Penthouse Penthouse, Sweater Beats, Bassnectar, Mikos Da Gawd, Ivy Lab, Mono/Poly, Zeke Beats, Woolymammoth, and many more. Tsuruda has also played the main stages at festivals such as Infrasound, Astral Valley, and Eclipse in Oregon.

Tsuruda is now more focused on producing music than ever. He is part of the collaborative PAINT with fellow Courteous Family member Huxley Anne, and released their first EP “Exodus” on Ivy Lab’s 20/20 LDN Label in August 2017. His distinctive style is making big waves with 5 full length self releases under his belt and many other singles on various labels [Darker Than Wax, Team Supreme, Division].
Alex Grey & Allyson Grey
Alex Grey & Allyson Grey
Alex Grey’s mystic paintings articulate realms of psychedelic visionary consciousness, revealing interwoven energies of body and soul, love and spirit, illuminating the anatomical core of each being. Alex Grey's visual meditations on the nature of life and consciousness, the subject of his art, have reached millions through his five books, the exhibition and extensive reproduction of his artwork, speaking appearances including a popular TED talk, stage sets for major rock bands, video animation, and Grammy award winning album art. alexgrey.com

Allyson Grey is a painter and social sculptor. Her paintings have been widely collected and exhibited in galleries throughout the U.S. Allyson's paintings represent chaos, order and secret writing, an essentialized world view symbolizing the material world, the interconnected realm of energy and light and the sacred language of creative expression. With an MFA from Tufts University, Allyson has long been an art educator, art events organizer and a muse to artists worldwide. allysongrey.com

Together, artists Alex Grey & Allyson Grey co-founded the Chapel of Sacred Mirrors, (CoSM; cosm.org), a spiritual creative retreat center outside of New York City. On the forefront of a movement in which painters join musicians on stage, the Grey's have painted together live before tens of thousands of dancing young people at New York Broadway theaters and at sold-out festivals and arenas in dozens of international cities across five continents. As long-time advocates of "cognitive liberty," a growing international "sacramental culture" has embraced the Grey's as important mapmakers and spokespersons for the visionary realm. The Grey's, with their team, are currently building Entheon, a Visionary Art sanctuary in the Hudson Valley of New York.
